Medical Update

Saturday night I had a little incident and there was blood in my spit up again (It's been about three months since that happened the first time and ever since then I've been so much better with the whole spit up thing). I wasn't feeling sick or crying or anything. I was just playing on my play mat, happy as can be, and then out it came. I just ignored it and kept on playing.

Mommy called two of my doctors today to report what happened and they want me to have an endoscopy. My appt is on Monday at 10am. I can't eat anything after 4am that morning. I don't know how I'm going to last that long without eating.

I have to go into the doctor on Friday for a pre-op physical and get some blood drawn before Monday's "operation" (that's what they're calling it). Mommy told me that she had one when she was in middle school and that my throat might hurt when its done but I'll be OK. She told me they'll use a really skinny tube to go into my stomach, just like the one I had when I was in the special care nursery after I was born. That wasn't that bad.

Please say a little prayer for me, especially that I can last that long without eating! I'll let you know how it goes!

New sounds

Over the weekend I discovered a fun new sound that I can make. I LOVE it and do it all the time. The only problem is that I spit all over the place. That's OK though, its so much fun to do. Check it out!

MIA

I'm sorry I've been MIA but wow this week was busy. Guess what I got to do...I got to have my very first sleep over. That's right, I'm almost 5 months old and I already had a sleep over. You see mommy and daddy went out of town and because I'm a "preemie"and still can't go out, they had to leave me behind. At first I was really sad and cried a lot but then mommy told me that I got to spend two nights at my Grandma Seaberg's house and then another couple nights at my other Grammy's house. Wow did I get spoiled!! It was so much fun. I got to try out some new swings, new play mats, new cribs and I sang lots of songs with my Grammy. I can't wait to see my Grandmas again but I'm glad to be back home with my mommy and daddy.

Superbowl

Well its been almost a week and I'm still trying to recover from the superbowl. I got to stay up past my bed time and play with my friends Claire and Isabella. We had fun cheering! But as you can tell I got a little tired!

Today, mommy told me that my friend Oscar went on a little walk a couple days ago and I got really jealous. I wanted to go on a walk! So I flashed mommy one of my irresistible smiles that she can't say no to and she gave in (she said it was too nice out to pass up). We got bundled up and off we went. The roads by our house are still too icy and wet to take the stroller so I got to snuggle up with mommy! It was a lot of fun! I can't wait to go again tomorrow with daddy if the weather stays nice!
