More friends

Last night mommy had her cooking club over to our house and I got to meet two more new friends, Claire and Eisley. It was so much fun! It's going to be so fun when we're all bigger and can really play together!

Claire is 8 months old, I'm 4 months and Eisley is almost 3 months!

Dr. Appt

Yesterday I had my four month check up at the doctor's. Guess what...I am now 11pounds and 23 1/2 inches long. Mommy and the doctor were so proud of me. The doctor said that I don't have to mix formula with mommy's milk anymore. I'm so glad because it tastes better that way. The doctor did tell mommy to give me some more medicine so that I don't scream when I get burped. The doctor told mommy that I stiffen up, arch and scream because I'm in pain (doctor's sure know what they're talking about because she was right, that's exactly how I feel). So now mommy gives me more medicine to get rid of that nasty acid in my tummy. At the end of my appointment some other lady came in and stuck me with a needle four times. I didn't like her very much (except she did compliment me a lot on how cute I am and how pretty my eyes are...that was nice of her). Mommy said I was a brave girl because I only screamed for about 30seconds and then I stopped and was fine. BUT...I wasn't so fine the rest of the day. Those shots made me act and feel funny. I didn't want to eat all day and I couldn't stop crying. Mommy tried everything she could, she even gave me nummy medicine to try and help but it didn't work. Finally after a few hours I fell asleep (but I wouldn't let mommy put me down) and so we cuddled and took a long nap. When I woke up at dinner time, I was feeling much better and ready to eat and play. It was a long, hard day!! I'm feeling MUCH better today!

more friends

Hi! I have been a very busy girl these past few days. I'm not supposed to go out until April but Mommy snuck me out of the house on Monday to see my cousins, Brynn, Leah and Maryn. (shhh..don't tell) That's why I'm wearing that warm fuzzy bear coat. I sure had a lot of fun at their house. They have SOOOO many toys and they move around alot. I just sat on mommy's lap the whole time and watched them play. I can't wait until I'm bigger so I can play with them.
Also this week I've met two new friends. Because they are babies like me and we don't really play together yet, its OK if they come over. Yesterday I met my friend Devyn and her mommy. They made me smile a lot. Devyn is a month old and she really wanted to cuddle with me but I wasn't sure if that was OK. Today I got to meet my friend Noah. He's two months old but about the same size as me. His mommy and my mommy grew up next door to each other. I LOVE seeing other friends. I hope they come over again soon!

The first video is of my tummy time! I like playing on my tummy (well at least for a few minutes and only if mommy or daddy lay with me so I can look at them).



This next one is when I was showing daddy how big I'm getting. I LOVE to stand on my feet I still need a little help, I'm a little wobbly (Daddy calls me bobble head every time)! If ever you come over to visit me, hold me up and I'll show you. Mommy says its sometimes hard to get me to bend my legs because I always keep them so straight.

This last one is of me sitting on the floor without my cool bumbo chair. I couldn't take my eyes off the television to look at Mommy. I love looking at all the colors and movement and listening to the noises on that big screen. Mommy said she needs to get me something called baby Einstein to help me get smart. I can't wait for that!

I'm 4 months old!!

Yesterday was my four month birthday! Guess what I did....I SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT!! Mommy was so excited. AND when she came into my room at 7:00 like she usually does I was smiling. I'm normally so hungry that I start to fuss...but not this morning. When mommy came in I just looked up at her and smiled. She couldn't stop praising me and telling me how wonderful I am. I LOVE when she does that. Maybe I should sleep through the night more often.

Sleepy day

Yesterday I had one of my best days (or so Mommy tells me). I only spit up a tiny bit at my last feeding and I took great naps. Lately I've been sleeping really well at night but have not taken good naps during the day. NOT yesterday!! I wanted to prove it to mommy that I could do it all! After each time Mommy fed me we played for about 45 minutes. I played under my mat, I had tummy time and I practiced sitting up and standing. I'm getting really strong! After play time was over I took a nap for about an hour and a half. My first nap was in my "recliner," my second nap was in my swing, my third nap was in my pack and play and my fourth nap was with mommy. It was a great day!

big day

Yesterday was a big day!! First of all Mommy gave me a rattle that I love to look at when she shakes it and I was able to hold it all by myself. Then Mommy had me do some tummy time and look how high I got my head. Mommy said I did a push up! She was so proud of me. Then...Mommy and I were playing and I started to giggle! I've never seen mommy's face light up so much when I did that. It was so much fun!! Wow...I had a HUGE day!

Fun day

Yesterday I got to play with my friend Oscar. He's a few months older than I am but I sure had fun with him. I also got to use my new swing that mommy got for me from my uncle Peter. As soon as mommy put me in it, I fell asleep for a long time. It was so much fun and so relaxing! I hope I get to go in there again!

Yesterday I got to sneak out with mommy and go see two of my cousins, Brynn and Leah. They look so much alike. Mommy says they are triplets. Their sister Maryn wasn't home, she was with her other grandparents. Uh-oh I don't know if I can tell them apart! What do I do? Mommy says once we all get bigger it won't be a problem and we're all going to have even more fun together. I can't wait. Mommy let me try their cool Christmas tunnel. It was fun! I also got to see my uncle Peter. He said he'd take me out for my first drink. That sounds like fun. He said I'd have to wait until I'm older. Mommy gave him a funny look...I'm not sure what was going on but I think my uncle Peter is pretty cool and fun. He sure has lots of cool toys at his house.

Yucky purple stuff

Well yesterday I really scared my mommy. You see I spit up a lot and am taking a couple medicines to try and stop that. During one of my feedings mommy burped me and I spit up a bunch of yucky purple stuff. I only drink milk and dont eat anything purple so Mommy got really worried and she called one of my doctors. The nurse told her that one of my medicines when broken down has purple beads in it so that was what she saw and there was nothing to worry about. I'm just fine! But I thought I would show you. Isn't it kind of cool...I can make purple in my tummy!!

hard work

Today has been hard work. Mommy wants me to work on strengthening my neck muscles so I can sit up. I've had lots of tummy time AND she even had me try my bumbo for the first time. I liked it at first but then as you can tell my head got so heavy and I got tired. Why did God make heads so heavy? Wow!! Mommy says I'm "fearfully and wonderfully made" and that God knew exactly what he was doing when he knit me together inside mommy, but I'm beginning to think he put too many brains in my head because its way too heavy!

But then my heavy head started pulling me over!

Finally, I let mommy know I was DONE!!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Today is my daddy's birthday! I love him so much. I thought I'd put some pictures on of me and him. The first one was when I was just born. The other one is from last night when he was feeding me after my bath. Daddy wrapped me in my new towel that I got for Christmas from my friend Isabella. Don't I look so cute!!? Anyway...mommy told me this is supposed to be about Daddy, not how cute I am! Sorry! I hope you have a great day daddy. I love you!! Thanks for being the best daddy in the whole world!!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year! Wow did I have a fun day/night. First two of Mommy's friends came over to meet me. It was so fun. They both work with mommy at her school. Mommy said Mrs. Walczynski teaches first grade and Mrs. Peterson is the principal at her school. It was fun to talk with them. They made me smile a lot. Then at night, Mommy and Daddy had some friends over. They played lots of games that made me laugh but really wore me out. They played something called rock band (that was Daddy's favorite- he thinks he's a rock star on the drums) and they played another game called Three Round Noun. Mommy tried to teach me about nouns but I don't really get it, I'm just discovering my hands! On New Years Day I got to go out with mommy and daddy for a drive. We made a stop at Target (I'm not aloud inside so Daddy had to go by himself) and we went to Daddy's office. I got to go inside there because no one else was inside. Unfortunately I was so tired from New Years Eve that I slept through it. Daddy really wanted to show me the treadmill desks and his new device. Mommy wears the device now too so we are always walking around the house and doing stairs so she can "Get to green!" It's pretty fun!!
