Week 1

My first week of being away from mommy all day is officially over and done with and we're on to week number two. I had a very fun week playing with so many different people. However, the only kink in the week was when I got sick. Yep...that's right! I already got sick! I had a really bad cold accompanied by two new teeth coming in. Needless to say Mommy and I spent most every night awake together. I would sleep from 8-midnight and then wake up and cry until about 4am and finally fall back to sleep on Mommy's shoulder. Then, I'd wake up again at 5:30, eat, and go right back to sleep until 7. It was exhausting. I still have my cold but its getting a little better. I'm not up as long during the night but I'm still up!

Over the weekend, I went to Sugar Lake with Mommy. I got to hang out with my fabulous and fun cousins. We played in the grass (well I played on a blanket because I still hate grass), we played on the tubes and bounced, we went for a walk, we swang, rode the tractor and we napped!


There's one more thing I forgot to mention about the cabin. While I was bouncing on the tubes my cousins had a little accident. Leah and Brynn like to pretend to paint the cabin while their daddy actually paints the cabin. Well, when all four adults weren't looking, they picked up a small can of dark brown deck stain and dropped it. It popped open and spilled on the back patio. They thought it looked fun to play in and so they did. Take a look at the pics Mommy took of them! Both Brynn and Leah asked Mommy to take pictures of them after they were all cleaned up so you knew what they looked like clean too.

On Sunday, I went to the MN State Fair for the very first time. Boy was that a wild experience. I've never seen so many people. I got to eat lots of nummy foods for the first time: mini donuts, corn on the cob, a fresh turkey sandwich, and pizza. Along with eating those great foods, I went to lots of different barns. I saw horses, cows, sheep and pigs! They were all kind of smelly!





Now it's Monday and we're back to our routine. I sure hope these teeth come in soon and this cold goes away. I'd really like to sleep through the night again (and I think Mommy would too, especially since she has to work now)!

MIA

I'm so sorry that I have been MIA for such a long time. Mommy has gone back to work full time :( and so we don't have a lot of opportunities to write together.

Last week was our last week together. Mommy and I did lots of fun things. We met Daddy for lunch, we did a little shopping, we went swimming and then to top it all off we all went to the cabin for the weekend. Grandma, Grandpa and my auntie Jess were all there too. It was so much fun. I loved sitting out on the deck playing with leaves, going for walks and hikes, "walking" around the cabin, and going on the boat.

This week, Mommy went back to work. Daddy and I spend some time together in the morning, we have breakfast together and then he brings me to where I need to be. I get to go to Miss Patty's house on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Then on Thursdays I get to hang out with my Grandma and on Fridays I spend the day with my Grammy. Mommy picks me up when she's all done working. I do miss spending each day with Mommy but I'm one lucky girl to have so many people love on me!

I'm still not crawling but I do LOVE LOVE LOVE to walk around while holding someone's hands. Its my most favorite thing to do! I'm beginning to become much more vocal which has been fun. I also have another tooth and a couple more coming in. My gums sure are swollen!

Well..it might be a while before I write again. I'm guessing once a week, on the weekends. Sorry about that. But, enjoy these pics from the cabin!

BOAT TIME

I got a little tired out at the end of the day.

Almost there

Many people keep asking if I'm crawling yet and the answer is no, but I'm almost there. I have been "almost there" for about a month now. I get up on my knees, rock back and forth and then fall down or scoot backwards. I can't wait until I figure out how to go forwards and can be on the move. I desperately want to move! I LOVE LOVE LOVE to walk around the house with mommy and daddy. If ever I'm fussy they just have to grab my hands and start walking with me and I get a HUGE smile on my face and I start giggling. Here are a few pictures of me trying to crawl last night. I started out in the middle of the room and ended up by my bookshelf.

After a few tries and not succeeding, I get tired and have to lay my head down and rest!

More fun to be had

Last weekend I went to our cabin in WI. We went up with lots of friends. I got to play with Oscar, Mary, Joe-Joe, Sully and Finn. Unfortunately Mommy forgot to take lots of pics so you only get to see two.

Yesterday, I went swimming with my cousins and my second cousins. It was a lot of fun but again Mommy forgot to take pics.

Today, I went swimming again with my friend Maya. Yay...mommy took a picture!!

It's been a fun couple of days!!

Cousins

Last night I got to go play with my cousins and let me tell you....they are a BLAST!!! They have so many fun things to do at their house. I was in heaven!

The first thing I did was go swinging with Brynn.

Then, I swang with Leah and next to Leah.

Next, I went in the car with Maryn.
She showed me how to beep the horn!
(I had to be careful because grass came up through the bottom and I didn't like that)

Finally, I went on a wagon train ride with Brynn and Leah.
Daddy pulled us all over the yard!

More cabin fun

Last weekend I went to Sugar Lake with lots of my friends. Mommy, Daddy and I went up Friday night. There was a big storm and it got really cold during the night so I was up a lot. I wasn't a happy girl like normal, but I got to sleep in Mommy and Daddy's bed so that made me happy.

Saturday morning, Lila and her parents came up, Bella and her parents came up, AND Claire and her parents came up. Unfortunately Mommy forgot to take pictures of all that. Saturday night, Lila and Claire had to go home but Ellie and her Mommy came up. We all went home on Sunday.
