Weeeeeeee

On Saturday Mommy and I went to Sugar Lake. It was kind of cold and windy there. I got to go on a swing that my uncle Peter put up for my cousins. It was really fun. Because it was so windy, Mommy didn't even have to push me, the wind did.

Last day with Bella

Yesterday was my last official day with Bella. She is going to go over to another friend's house to play everyday. I've had a lot of fun with her this summer. To celebrate, we spent the day at the park, playing with chalk on the driveway and "swimming" in the pool. Thanks for all the fun Bella, I'll miss you!

9 month celebration

Guess what I got to do to celebrate being 9 months old. Mommy bought me a baby pool and I got to go "swimming!" It was so much fun. I LOVED splashing. I would splash and get water all over my face and then look at mommy and giggle. It was so much fun. I was sad when I had to get out.

9 Month Dr Appt

Yesterday I had my 9 month doctor's appointment (even though I'm really 9 months tomorrow). My doctor said I was doing great. Here are my stats:

-16lbs 2oz (10th percentile)
-27 in. long (25th percentile)
-17.25 in. around my head(25th percentile)

I sat up for my entire visit and Dr. Lawler was so impressed. She thinks I might not crawl, I may skip it or do it for only a really short amount of time. But don't worry, she said that it doesn't mean I'm going to have developmental problems later. She said that crawling isn't actually a developmental marker, who knew???

While Dr. Lawler looked me over, she let me play with some of her fancy tools. I really liked the one that shined a light in my eyes and ears. I also had fun playing with that thing she used to listen to my heart. Then, Mommy let me play with her sunglasses so that Dr. Lawler could actually use her fancy tools. Dr. Lawler told mommy that I could start eating solids three times a day but should still drink milk four times a day. She also said that I shouldn't have honey until I'm 1 years old and that I can't have peanut butter until I'm 3!! I couldn't believe that. I've really wanted to have some of mommy's toast in the morning. It looks so good! Oh well.

So far I don't have any teeth, which Dr. Lawler said was just fine. She said the goal is to have at least one by 15 months. Hopefully that won't be a problem. She said its actually a good sign that I don't have teeth yet because that means I won't get adult teeth until later which is great!

At the end of the appointment I had to get two shots. I cried for maybe 30 seconds and then Mom gave me some puffs which made me really happy. Today I'm a little fussy and have a tiny fever but mommy says I'm going to be OK. I think so too!
