February Update

Well nothing new is happening around here. Mommy is still on the couch and we're all anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new baby brother. We're so happy that he's held on for so long. It's been about two and a half months of mommy on the couch and I'm definitely ready for her to get up and play. Daddy and I have had to get creative with things to do without Mommy. I keep asking Daddy over and over again if we can go swimming, surfing, or biking. He finally gave in on the biking thing and took my bike down.

Here are a couple other pictures for you to enjoy. The first is of me from Valentines Day. It was wear red at school. AND I've become pretty much obsessed with ponies and I'm very particular about how many I want each day and where I want them...as you can probably tell from the picture. The other picture is of Daddy and me in the fort we made. It was SO COOL!!

Christmas, New Years and More

These past few weeks have been a whirlwind. Let me start from the beginning. Christmas Eve morning I went to my Grammy and Poppa's house with all my cousins, aunts and uncles on mommy's side. First, we ate a delicious breakfast (the pull apart caramel rolls were my favorite) and then Grammy, Poppa, me and all my cousins, we put on a little show for our mommies and daddies. Grammy made these fun Swedish costumes and taught us a Swedish song. We all came into the living room with our costumes on singing Go Tell it on the Mountain. Then we sand the swedish song and a couple more Christmas songs that I like. It was so fun! After our "show" we opened some presents, had some lunch and best of all, had a birthday party for Jesus. We decorated cup cakes, sang and celebrated. I was exhausted so we all took naps. I'm not quite sure what mommy and daddy did. When I woke up, we drove to my Great Aunt Susie's house where I got to see all my mommy's cousins and my second cousins. We got to go sledding, run around their big house, eat beef tenderloin (who knew it was sooooo good - I ate all of mine and ALL of mommy's) and see Santa. After that, I went home. Wow what a day!

Christmas Day I went to Nonny and Boppy's house with my Great Grandpa John and my Great Grandma Gigi and Auntie Jess. I got to eat another delicious brunch and open more presents. Guess what I got....I got an art easel! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! I can't get enough of it. I also got a doll where I can play with her hair from my Auntie Jessie AND I got a beautiful crib for my dolls from my Great Aunt Nancy!! I took a nap at Nonny's house and got to spend the whole day there. We ate dinner there (more beef...mmmm good) and played with my easel. Boppy sure knows how to draw lots of silly faces!! He's funny!!

For New Years I had a lot of friends over. Mommy's still stuck on that couch (I can't wait until she gets to get up and finally play with me) so people come to our house a lot to play. It's hard sharing all my toys but I'm starting to get used to it. I couldn't stay up late like mommy and daddy but I did get to have a sleep over. My friend Bella slept on the floor in my room in her new sleeping bag. It was so much fun!

Since then, I've been busy back at "school," going to gymnastics class, and playing with daddy (he taught me a fun new card game called slap jack - I'm really good at hitting those jacks - I almost always beat daddy). My brother is doing a good job of obeying mommy and staying inside her tummy. I can't wait to meet him!
