He is RISEN!!! YAY Jesus!! The tomb is empty!!
I had such a wonderful weekend. I hope you did too. Let me tell you about everything I got to do!
First - Mommy and Daddy picked me up early from school to go out to lunch and guess what I did. I went poopy on the potty!! I've been having a really hard time doing that. I go peepees on the potty all the time but now after this weekend I do both! YAY Abby!! (I LOVE cheering that). After lunch I went to church for a family event for Good Friday. We walked "the road" that Jesus did. I heard the whole story of what Jesus did for me step by step! Thank you Jesus!! After that I got to spend the night with Grammy and Poppa!
Second - Saturday morning I went on a HUGE Easter Egg hunt with my cousins at their church. There were so many boys and girls and SO SO SO many eggs. Mommy and Daddy told me that the eggs are really to celebrate Jesus and the tomb being empty because Jesus has Risen. So I cheered Yay Jesus when I found them!
Third - Sunday morning I had three more Easter Egg hunts. First, mommy and daddy had a special one for me with my four special eggs (each with a letter on it that spells my name).
After that, Nonny, Grampy, Gigi and Great-Grandpa John came over and I had another hunt with Nonny and Grampy! I found my Easter basket that the Easter Bunny hid!
Next, I went to Grammy's house for a yummy lunch and my last easter egg hunt with my cousins. You see all week Grammy had been telling us that Swiper the fox (from the show Dora) had taken all of the Easter eggs and hid them outside. He also swiped some special presents that Grammy had for us. So we all went outside and guess what....we found all the eggs AND our presents!
Finally, after our yummy lunch and our nap we all went to the park. It was so much fun to run around in our play clothes and go down the slides and run down the BIG hill.
What a FUN FUN FUN weekend!! Thank you Jesus for what you did for me! I love you!
PS - Lots of people ask me about my baby brother Cam. He's doing well. He had a good Easter too but he slept through most of it. He did get to see all his grandparents and great grandparents. He met Great Grandpa Red (the one he was named after)!
