18 month facts

I'm 18 months! Yippee! I'm such a big girl!!

Today I went to the doctor for a check up.

She was so impressed with me!

She couldn't believe how far I've come!

I'm in the 50th percentile for height, weight, and my head!

Wow...have I grown up so much!!

Next time I'll see the doctor is when I'm 2 and talking up a storm!

Spring is here

Today is St. Patrick's Day and spring weather is finally here! Daddy came home from work early and we all went to the park for the first time in 2010! It was SO MUCH FUN!! I said hi to everyone I walked by and I met a new friend, Paul. He's my exact age. He's a little more daring than I am though. I'm sure I'll see him a lot this summer while I'm at the park. I went down a big slide all by myself AND I went on a tire swing. I LOVED it all and can't wait to go back!!

15 month update

My 15 month appointment was right after Christmas. The doctor said I have totally caught up to a normal 15-month old. I'm no longer on the small side because I'm a premie! Yay for me! Here are my stats:

Height - 85%
Weight - 50%
Head - 50%

Isn't that awesome. I went from being in the 25th percentile in all three areas to those new stats. I had a HUGE growth spurt. Mommy said it's because I'm such a good eater. I LOVE to eat. That must by why I can't really see my toes anymore - I've got quite the belly on me, but I love it!

Christmas/New Years

Happy New Year everyone! I had a wonderful Christmas and New Years. On Christmas Eve, Mommy, Daddy and I went to church. It was so much fun. After church we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house. We played games and I got to open some presents. I got some cool blocks (which if you don't mind me bragging a little, I'm super good and putting them together), a couple stuffed bears, my very own remote control AND a super cool Maddie doll!
Christmas Day we went to Grammy and Poppa's house with all of my cousins. First we had breakfast (swedish pancakes, caramel pull aparts, fruit and baked bacon....nummy!). Then, we opened our stockings and I got a plate with my picture on it and a toy car. I LOVE playing with cars. I also got some books and some bows. Next, we signed the sheet and opened presents. I got this SUPER cool tent and tunnel from my auntie Ali and Uncle Peter. I also got a cool DVD player for the car for when we drive to the cabin in WI and some Little People stuff.
We were going to go sledding but things got a little crazy with so many kids and naps so we didn't go. I did get to go sledding on New Years Day though (it was FREEZING out --> -11 degrees windchill)! I LOVE sledding. Mommy only let me go down the hill two times because she said it was too cold. I was NOT happy when she brought me back into the car. I wanted to keep sledding, I didn't mind the cold.
On New Years Eve, Mommy and Daddy had some friends over. My friends Bella and Oscar came too. It was so much fun. We ran around and played together while the grown-ups played some silly games. We all ate way too much food!

These past two weeks have been so much fun with all the friends and family that I've been able to see and play with. I'm sad that we have to go back to normal life tomorrow. :(
But...I think 2010 is going to be a GREAT year!
