Mommy has been gone everyday this week getting some training on something. So, I have a different babysitter everyday. It's been fun playing with new people, but I definitely miss mommy and me time. Yesterday when she came home, we got to have LOTS of fun together and she made me laugh harder than I've laughed in a long time. Check out my videos below!

Memorial Weekend
Wow this has been a busy and fun weekend. Saturday morning, mommy, daddy and I all went to meet Mommy's friends Kelly and Josh for breakfast. That was the first time I met them. They are so fun. I wish they didn't live so far away and I could play with them more often.

After breakfast, we drove to Sugar Lake. That was my first time there. SO FUN!!! I got to see all my mommy's cousins and aunts and uncles. I also got to play with my cousins too. Take a look at the picture below of me with my great-grandpa and my second cousin, Court. He's two weeks older than I am.

At Sugar Lake I got to go for another boat ride (this time I didn't hate my life jacket too much) and I got to swing with daddy in the hamock, I jumped on the porch, and I played cowboy golf...well actually I watched. I was exhausted when the day was over.

On Sunday (my 8 month birthday), I went for a walk with Mommy and then went to meet Sarah and Matt for lunch on Lake Minnetonka. Mommy said that it was her favorite restaurant. I LOVED it too. The weather was perfect. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to meet my friend Lila yet. She's still not ready to leave her mommy's tummy even though she was supposed to do that on Friday. After lunch, we all went for a walk and got ice cream. Daddy let me taste his cone. I really liked it but it sure was cold.
Yesterday, I went to a park with our friends the McDonalds. I get to go for a walk and play with my friend Mary.

Then after that, I went to my grandma and grandpa's house for a BBQ. I jumped with my great-grandma and I got more ice cream from my grandma. I liked it so much that I cried when I couldn't have more. Daddy, snuggled with me to help me feel better. That definitely helped. This weekend has been the best!

Not again....
This morning I was able to keep some food down and eat some cereal. Mommy was very excited. We were laughing and celebrating and then a little rumble came. So...Mommy took me upstairs to change me. I had a little diarrhea but not bad. Well, while mommy was cleaning me up, I did something that I don't think made her very happy. I just couldn't hold it in to wait until a new diaper was on, so I let go.
Well...I squirted everywhere!! It went all over mommy, all over the changing table, all over the floor...it literally was everywhere. AND..I couldn't stop. It just kept on coming. Once it was all over with, I was probably the happiest little girl in the world at that moment. I started giggling and giggling and kicking my legs. However Mommy wasn't giggling and tried to get me stop kicking because apparently I was making more of a mess. After what seemed like a LONG time, Mommy finally got me, her, and my room all cleaned up. This bacteria is NO FUN!!!!! BUT, the good thing was that mommy got a lot for the samples to give the doctor. (Mommy says to always try and look at the bright side)!

If it's not one thing, it's another!
Well it's been quite the past couple of days. I'm sorry for my delay in writing but I have been sick. You wouldn't know it by my expressions, but you would if you were mommy and daddy. It all started when I threw up all my food Saturday morning. Then all day Saturday I wasn't very interested in eating anything. Mommy thought it was bizarre but I didn't have a fever and I was still as happy as can be.
Sunday came around and same thing...threw up in the morning and didn't want to eat the rest of the day. Mommy knew there was something up but wasn't quite sure what. But of course, I was still a happy little camper. That night, Mommy was talking to a friend of her's and discovered that her daughter had caught a bacteria from their dog and guess what...we dog sat for that dog a couple weeks ago. That night I started having diarrhea and so Mommy called the nurses line. Sure enough...I caught the same bacteria.
So Monday morning I went to the doctor. They made sure I wasn't dehydrated, which I wasn't and they sent me home with some stool sample containers (Daddy and Mommy's least favorite thing - sorry). If you've ever done them before you know that they are not fun and can be quite difficult because diapers are designed to absorb not repel.
OK to make a long story short. I have been diagnosed with this bacteria and just have to wait a week for it to pass. Mommy and daddy have to feed me as often as they can to make sure I don't get dehydrated. Can you believe it??? It doesn't seem to end. Can't I just be a normal little baby girl?!? The doctor says I just like to keep everyone on their toes. I'm not so sure!
