Weekend report

This past weekend was full of ups and downs. Saturday was an up, but on Sunday things went downhill...

On Saturday I got to have cereal for the first time. Mommy and Daddy said I did a good job for my first time. I'm excited to keep trying it. Check out my video at the very end. Oh and thanks for voting...as you can see in the picture and video, I ate in my bumbo since that's what most people voted for.


After eating, I went for a walk with mommy and daddy. It was beautiful out. It was a tiny bit windy but I LOVED that. Anytime I felt the wind on my face, I would start to giggle. It was so much fun. I also really liked the fresh air and all the fun things to look at. It made me excited for cold and flu season to be over with so mommy can take me out all the time. She says there's a big world out there for me to see and explore!



Saturday night my grandma and grandpa Seaberg came over to play with me. I hadn't seen them in a while so that was really fun. They thought I had gotten so big since the last time I saw them. I got to show off some of new tricks...like bouncing! They were really impressed.

The bad part of the weekend was when I woke up at 1am on Sunday with a cold. I was really congested and had a fever. I couldn't sleep well at all. Mommy had to stay up with me all night and hold me. All day Sunday mommy and daddy gave me Tylenol to help with my fever and saline drops to help with my nosie. I really don't like those saline drops nor do I like this thing mommy calls the "boogie ball." I don't like anything being put up my nose.

Last night I slept a little better but not great. I got up every two hours. Daddy put a little pillow under my mattress so I was elevated and could breathe a little better. But I move around a lot in my sleep so after two hours my feet were the ones elevated, not my head. So I'd cry and ask mommy to help me and feed me. I had a really hard time eating and would throw up everything I ate and a lot of mucus from my nose too. Mommy said the doctor wants to see me this afternoon to check my fever again and to make sure I'm not dehydrated or have RSV. Say a little prayer for me.

(I can't believe I have to go back to the doctor's again. I think they just miss me and that's why they want me to come back in!)
